Office Manager
Job Description:
We have an immediate need for an Office Manager to support a growing smart home device company in day-to-day tasks and longer-term projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist CEO and small team with day to day office management, work independently and take initiative to complete tasks to help the organization to run seamlessly
· Must have strong office and administrative skills and strong people skills
· Manage projects autonomously, problem-solving and planning using all available resources
· Prepare office for all meetings and events, and host in-office visitors
· Create and track expenses, ensuring records kept for accounting compliance
· Adapt an all hands on deck approach and taking over other tasks as needed
· Manage company communications, meetings, calendar, office supplies, records, office, bills and expenses
· Market and competitor research and compiled detailed notes on information
· Post job listing and contact candidates through job boards and Linkedin for technical positions
· Research and engage with consultancies for HR/accounting/graphic design/law/ID/engineering/software
· Maintain detailed records of communications and meetings with consultancies
· Draft and edit company documents, including RFPs, NDA, product features list
· Review and revise legal documents including engagement letters, retainer agreements, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs received by company
· Create and present comprehensive product plan and roadmap
· Legal research for tax/contracts/employment/healthcare/corporate/IP issues
· Create and update company webpage and social media pages
· Negotiate and contract with business service providers
· Fill out forms for tax, insurance, etc.
· Manage internal operations and communications, serve as point of contact for employees and vendors
· Other tasks as necessary to support the company
Qualifications:
· 3-5 years’ experience in working for a startup
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities seamlessly
· Extraordinary planning, and organizational skills
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Persistent, have a passion for what we do, flexible and good natured
· Effective problem solver and ability to self-manage
· Adaptable startup mindset and enjoy the fast-paced environment
